Cathal Kelly – Principal Solicitor
Cathal is from Belfast and graduated from the University of Ulster with LL B (Hons) in Law & Government in 2004. He subsequently obtained a post graduate diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, Chester and completed his training contract with distinction. Cathal was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2010. In 2015, Cathal established Kelly & Co Solicitors with a desire to help people with any issues by providing practical legal advice in a straightforward way.
Cathal has established himself as a highly skilled litigator in all areas of civil law including personal injury claims arising from road traffic collisions, accidents at work, tripping /slipping accidents, actions against public authorities, medical negligence, protection from harassment injunctions, and discrimination.
He has also developed extensive experience in PACE and Terrorism Act arrests and regularly represents clients charged with all types of criminal offences in the Magistrates Court, Youth Court and Crown Court.
Cathal is also experienced in providing advice in relation to issues of immigration, judicial review, wills & probate.
